Claims

Our aim is always to ensure the handling of claims is as quick, straightforward and direct as possible. Claims are dealt directly between our brokers and the following insurer partners.

Please attach a copy of the policy schedule covering the period during which the loss occurred when notifying of any incidents which may lead to a formal claim being made.

ARAG Legal Expenses

Claims can be notified online at www.arag.co.uk/newclaims.  Alternatively, a claim form can be downloaded from the same address.  You can also phone on 0330 303 1955 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

Aspen/Sompo

Notification of a claim or any incident likely to give rise to a claim should be directed to Aspen/Sompo as soon as reasonably practicable by either emailing details to casualty.claims@davies-group.com, copying in hetty.brown@focus-insurance.com, or writing to Davies Casualty, First Floor Ambler House, Trevelyan Square, Leeds, LS1 6ED or by phoning 0121 231 4000.

AXIS

Please send all claims notifications to Phoenix Loss Adjusters at axisbinders@phoenixliability.co.uk, copying in hetty.brown@focus-insurance.com

HSB

Markel

Tokio Marine HCC

For EL, PL or CAR claims please email liabilityclaims@tmhcc.com, copying in hetty.brown@focus-insurance.com or write to Liability Claims, Tokio Marine HCC, 6 Old Field Road, Bocam Park, Pencoed, Bridgend, CF35 5LJ – correspondence should be addressed to Liability Claims.  When notifying, it is important you attach the appropriate policy schedule, policy wording and statement of fact relating to the claim.

All Other Claims

Claims for insurer partners other than the above should be emailed to the Focus claims team at hetty.brown@focus-insurance.com who will notify the insurers accordingly.

When notifying claims, please provide as much information as possible.

To speed up the handling process, please attach a copy of the policy schedule and wording which cover the period of the loss.  Please also provide the following information:

• The full name of the policyholder
• The policy number
• Date of incident (if known)
• Brief description of the circumstances
• Contact details of the policyholder
• Any other information which you feel may be of use, such as a letter of claim from a third party
