We have recently been made aware that a spike in plant theft has occurred in the Surrey area. 

We understand that the Intelligence Team at The Equipment Register has advised local firms that there is an active group in the Surrey area which is currently targeting construction sites for plant left on site overnight.             

Whilst your construction clients may not have sites in the Surrey area, it would be good practice to let your clients know the situation so that they can be more vigilant and take extra care of plant left on site leading up to Christmas and the New Year.
