In a recent online survey conducted amongst members of UCATT (Union of Construction, Allied Trades and Technicians), more than 21% of respondents said they do not believe their employers take their health and safety seriously.

UCATT said that construction is the most dangerous industry in the UK and that 37% of survey respondents reported that they or a colleague suffered a workplace accident in the last 12 months.
